Sour Cream Combined with pinch Baking Soda
Instructions

Mix sugar and shortening well. Blend in margarine. Add egg yolks (one at a time).

Add sour cream and flavoring. Beat well. Add dry ingredients (flour). Beat for 5 minutes.

Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300-325 for about 1 hour 15 minutes.

Cool for 5 minutes.
